Conservation

Conservation is probably the easiest method of saving energy that everyone can already take part in.  Conservation of Energy really refers to the monitoring of one’s usage of a resource – natural or  man- made. For instance, when someone waters their lawn or uses fuel to heat their home and makes  an honest attempt to account for the amount of energy or resources they’re using for the good of the  surrounding environment, it can be said that they’re doing their part to conserve.  Conservation can also  refer to making small personal sacrifices or becoming more aware or alert of how you use energy.  Everyone is familiar with the icon of the stern parent switching off the lights in a room that is no longer  occupied. Many children are scolded while they’re growing up about such examples. This is really an  example of an adult instilling the idea of conservation in a child so that they’ll become lest wasteful and  will understand the importance of the concept that we do not have an unlimited amount of resources  available to us. This concept is of the utmost importance and can sometimes be hard for people to  internalize or understand. Those with more financial control over their lives seem to care less about  conserving because they’re willing to simply pay for what they use. People on stricter budgets usually  make every effort to conserve energy, if only to save money on their electric bills.
